Your Mercedes diesel engines REALLY were designed to run on #1 or #2
diesel fuel! They run most efficiently on the fuel they were designed to
run on. They won't run as efficiently on diesel mixed with ANY of the
following:
motor oil (2/4 cycle)
ATF
Marvel Mystery oil
isopropyl alcohol
peanut oil
camel urine
bunker fuel
gasoline
etc., etc.
Some of the above CAN be added to diesel fuel for special purposes, but
routinely adding them to the fuel will raise the cost of operation AND
may damage the engine.
