I guess windoze will be an ex$tra option.
Part of the Apple vision is integration of all aspects of life and having an
actual computer in the car is part of that.
Imagine sitting at your computer in the office/home/workshop/wherever and
telling your car to preheat the cabin.
Or having a fully integrated software package to manage all of the aspects
of your car, which can be accessed via the internet from anywhere. More than
likely you'll get emails from your local friendly stealership, to inform you
that your pride and joy has a niggle and needs to go spend some money in
their workshop.

"Dear Mr/Mrs Mercedes Owner,

Through the integrated online managment system we have been informed that
your vehicle requires a repair.
The specified fault is a non functioning sunroof, code 6500.

Please press here to chat with one of our online help technician, who will
be happy to assist you in ............. "

Anyway I guess the technology is finally getting there to make it happen. I
do seem to remember reading about the Apple and Daimler alliance. Perhaps
BMW will jump into bed with Bill (oooh no I have to drive a beemer:).
