That's the way my 240D was - low 20s - no matter what. But my 91 300D is awesome 29-32. Haven;t figured out why it varies - some weeks the driving is identical - same route, same speeds, etc - same fuel station. Anyway, while 10% difference is a lot, as long as it remains at 29 or better I;m happy - it'd be better if I were geting 40 like the 95 E300D, but I can live with it. Thank God my wife changed hospitals - now 32 mi RT Vs 110 RT. ;-) Less fuel use, less oil changes, etc.
