Thanks, Amenel.  I had no serious issues getting my environment set up.  
The one minor thing I ran into was that I started with Eclipse Oxygen and 
Mercurial 4.3.1.  Unless I goofed somewhere, I guess those versions are 
still a little too new at the moment for development - I got a few compile 
errors and a bunch of javahg test failures (I think) with that 
configuration.  After rolling back to Eclipse Neon and Mercurial 4.2.2 and 
following the instructions again, those build problems went away and 
everything looks good now.

I am looking forward to working with you.  I will definitely read the 
updated readme when you publish it.
