Hi, Check the application which you are trying to automate.*Ex:Web,.Net,Java etc...* and check wether the specific *add-ins* are installed or not.Until unless there is no add-ins installed as per the application type, QTP could not able to recongize the objects.So,If you want to record the application go with* Low level recording* where you can get only standard window objects.But which is not the right approch.
