Greetings, I'm new to the group. I searched but didn't find anything like this. Hopefully someone can help, or has at least seen this before.
I am running QTP 10, and the AUT is Elite Enterprise 3.8. I want to set the value of a WinComboBox. However, I cannot add the object properties to the repository, nor will descriptive programming locate it, when I run the script. Using Object Spy, I can see the properties of the object. But, when I try to add it, or update from application, it QTP does not retrieve any properties. This explains why descriptive programming doesn't work, I suppose. But, I don't understand why Object Spy can see the properties, but QTP can't in test mode. Any replies are appreciated. Thank you!
