Just keep in mind, that this questions may be addressed to HP, you (or company) buy product, it doesn't work. I think, even if you don't have license for HP support, you can still ask the question.
Screenshot you can add as attachment directly to the question. Which type of GUI is it, is it .net? Do you have relevant add-in loaded? Do you mean QTP doesn't record anything on the AUT?
