The patch mentioned here can be downloaded from the following location:
http://knowledgeinbox.com/forums/hp-quicktest-pro-patches/

Also you have to disable the *UAC *settings from *MSCONFIG*.

I myself has applied this patch and is working fine for me till now... [?]
