Which version are you using Carbon (the default choice when you select download
Mac os x version) or Cocoa? If it's the first version (Carbon is only 32 bit)
you need to build in 32-bit mode as 10.6 builds in 64-bit mode by default. I
use the Cocoa version which supports both 64 and 32 bit and it's IMHO much
faster.
