Hello Chris! Today (Thursday, December 10, 2009) at 12:47 you chipped in: >>> Done and commited. >> great! >>> Tell me if you think it is better. >> If I only could! Can you please prepare a windows binary? Will you? Or maybe someone could give me instructions on how to compile on windows, but please consider that I have no experience in compiling C++

I don't object to free zoom levels but I'd prefer a method to lock zoom to the levels of the background images. Maybe the plus and minus keys could act as 'zoom to next level given by the background', whereas zoom to rectangle could act as free zoom? Talking of yahoo imagery: Many areas are not covered by hires images. If I zoom too close, I'll see the white image saying: zoom out! I'd prefer to zoom into the last available picture, even if I am going to dive into the pixels. If you can figure a way to detect the white images (Potlach does!), you could lock the image zoom level at the last supported level. Otherwise you could also introduce an manual option to 'freeze' the image zooming at the current level. -- Bye, Boris _______________________________________________ Merkaartor mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/merkaartor
