Aaahhh Ok. Good catch! Indeed, since 0.15, nodes are only selectable if they are visible... The level from wich they are visible is configured in "Tool-Preferences" "Visual - Maximum meters per pixel to show nodes". Increase the value to show nodes from lower zoom levels...
