Yes, I can be doing something like that, but I have zoph loaded on my server, 
using OSM map as background and then I can look at photos against the map, 
including those I have positioned myself.
It's a lot of work if you don't have another need for a big photograph minding 
database program, and I can see an advantage in being able to load photos 
against a map rather than a track.
