After trying a little bit I get the aerial images of this server http://wms.pcn.minambiente.it/cgi-bin/mapserv.exe?map=/ms_ogc/service/ortofoto_colore_06.map&; but with one problem: the projection differs between Merkaartor and the wmsserver The properties dialog shows:
View Bounding Box 11.6893, 46.7876, 11.7018, 46.7962 (11° 41' 21.63", 46° 47' 15.19", 11° 42' 6.40", 46° 47' 46.14") Projection EPSG:3857 Document Drawing layer #1 Features: 0 2010-10-24T11:57:49 download Features: 0 2010-10-24T11:58:22 download Features: 0 Map - WMS - Italien Server: wms.pcn.minambiente.it Projection: EPSG:4326 2010-10-24T12:12:43 download Features: 0 Map - WMS - Italien Server: wms.pcn.minambiente.it Projection: EPSG:4326 If I change the wmsserver projection, I won't get any images of the wms server if I change the merkaartor projection to the wms projection all buildings seem distorted Is there any possibility to get the buildings not distorted in case of changing the projection?
