There is nothing wrong with the fact that the features are in the "Downloaded" layer. Orange means that the features are "dirty". Could you send me the MDC that I could have a look... The proper way to move features between layers is: 1) Select the features 2) <CTRL-X> to cut 3) Select the destination layer in the layer dock 4) <CTRL-V>F to paste Bu I don't thing it has something to do with your problem...
