Hello all--

Yesterday, I was getting to post THIS email when Aaron
announced the GeoCities cite. Then David mirrored mw, so I
thought "why bother". But we need two stay on topic
here. Here's an example

Disable javascript and they go away :)

Which is a really nifty trick. But, IMO, it is off topic and should
have been sent to the original poster (jp) and not the list. Sorry,
whgiii, but I had to pick on somebody :-( No harm no foul, OK?

Please keep in mind that many people do not like a lot of email.
If we generate a lot of off-topic posts, I will see another flood
of "unsubscribe" messages.

OK, I'm off the soapbox now.

And here's my earlier, unposted message........

Well, I am surprised. There was only a single request not
to post the warrant URL to this list. Furthermore, folks
want to see all the exhibits, especially the resumes of the
four members of the US West security members. So I am
trying to make arrangements to post the remainder of the
warrant (the exhibits).

I have sent email to US West, but I do not have a response
just yet.

Over 3000 people hit Aaron's archived post
  http://www.scruz.net/~luke/archives/digest/v01_0375.txt
so I'd imagine at least that many will hit the warrant.

Since so many of you will read the warrant, please try to
constrain yourselves in posting to this list. Please try to
keep any post "on topic".

Please trim your follow-ups. By that I mean, when replying
to a post, try to delete as much as possible of the original
post -- quote only the sentences that you are addressing.

Of course, some people are sure to innocently post away to their
heart's content. If you wish to scold them, please do it politely
and privately, not publicly on the list. I have yet to find a
disagreeble person on Mersenne -- everybody seems to be reasonable,
this is a very well behaved list.

If traffic gets too heavy for you, please consider subscribing
to the digest (magazine) form of this list. Visit:

OK, here it is:

And here's a bonus URL:
