Doesn't this depend on the personal preferences? 
(Options -> Preferences -> Iterations between results file outputs)

Even exponents result always in composite Mersenne numbers, but yeah, why not
test them too?

This was in at least Prime95 v16.2, the last time I checked. 
Advanced -> Manual Communication -> Contact PrimeNet server now -> OK
should do it...
