I run the mprime 17.0.2 Linux binaries on my FreeBSD 3.0-R box (K6/233)
using the Linux compatability mode. It doesn't seem to be able to do
network operations, so I have to check exponents in and out using the
GIMPS manual testing forms, but it is running properly and generating
useful output.
Once I upgrade my 2.2.6 PPro/180 box to 3.0-R I'll be running it on there
too. Note that 3.0 isn't *required* for Linux compatability, but the
2.2.6 machine is in production, so I don't want to screw around with it
unless there's planned downtime.
