Greg Ozimek asks... >To be sure PRIME 95 saves it's work when I need to reboot Windoze 98, >I bring PRIME 95 to the surface, hit Escape, and wait till the >program resonds [Execution Halted]. Then I close out the program >(click X or Alt-F4) or just re-boot without closing PRIME 95. Does >this proceedure save up-to-the-second work that has been done to a file >and which is continued next time PRIME 95 loads? If NO, then what >must be done each of the very many times Win 98 needs to be >re-booted ??? In other words, does hitting Escape constitute a >normal orderly shutdown procedure? Just exiting windows cleanly is fine. Or if you are paranoid, close prime95, and it will save its work in progress. You don't have to halt it first. The save is in the Pxxxxxx and Qxxxxxx files. >When I am ready to put additional computers into PRIME 95 service, >how do I have that work counted (added to) as part of my total >work-to-date (which I assume will effect my ranking and enhance >my family's esteem, pride, and renown)? Just make sure you use your existing account name and password. _________________________________________________________________ Unsubscribe & list info -- http://www.scruz.net/~luke/signup.htm Mersenne Prime FAQ -- http://www.tasam.com/~lrwiman/FAQ-mers
