Yes, it's too slow. In addition to removing the mouse rollover, I'd prefer
the menu done with styled text, not GIFs.
(Disclaimer: I'm in Norway. That means some tenths of seconds of additional
load time for every single GIF on the page that cannot be served from
cache, compared to the US - NO MATTER how much bandwidth I have)

would be less irritating if you right-justified it in a table together with
