I've been on DSL for several years now, and autoconnect ISDN-via-ethernet for 3-4 years before that, and have several clients running on machines that are on much higher speed connections, and have most of them set to check in every 2 days (that way I can easily find out if a client has stalled), and *NONE* of my 10 or so clients have ever had any problems connecting to primenet. Now, I don't use AOL at all. My ISP is a regional who uses static IP bridging, I'm connected to the DSL modem by ethernet, and don't run any special software, just TCP/IP. _________________________________________________________________________ Unsubscribe & list info -- http://www.ndatech.com/mersenne/signup.htm Mersenne Prime FAQ -- http://www.tasam.com/~lrwiman/FAQ-mers
