The scaling is now 99% OK, maybe 100% as I don't really know what
artifacts to expect from artificial tests.
The aspect is now correct for hqscaling=1 but the pillar boxes are
not set to black, so random mem will appear.
With hwscaling=0 (default) the same issues exist as before.
