Glad to hear this.  I looked at it and I can see how to do it quickly,
but I am a little busy.  

I have right now a configuration option in my runtime config file which
will cause the FX driver to ignore offset, and a whole bunch of other
things too.  This is perhaps the best mechanism for enabling these
'non-conformance' options.
