My understanding, and I haven't dug into this carefully, is that the
G200 has something called the Warp engine. That does hardware triangle
setup. The problem is that they didn't release the specs to the Warp
engine. So, performance of the G200 under Linux is going to be seriously
degraded.

Yes, it would take some time to turn around changes. Some of the Glide3
stuff is my fault. It hasn't been a high priority for me. I suspect that
once we create a "mesa extension" it'll be easier/faster to add stuff to
it. But, we'll tackle that when we get there. First, we need to have
Glide3, and then something to put in the extension. :-)
