Hello, I think that the CVS version of May 17th is bugged. (and I think since a week or so) When I use display lists and spotlights, I get messed up lighting. display lists / pointlight is OK. no display list / spotlight is OK. Build target: linux-386-elf linux-alpha-elf has similar problems. I think that glide is OK though. Once again, you can use my virtball glut demo to demonstrate the bug. Start it, and press 's' for spotlighting, followed by 'l' for displaylists. You can get the glut demo at: http://www.xs4all.nl/~stolk/hq/polarpyramid-matrix44-1.5.tar.gz (and keep the matrix44 lib for free :-) I've used this app frequently to designate bugs in Mesa. You can toggle lists/vertarrays/spots on/off, thereby creating different ways to 'speak' to ogl. It maybe a good tool for a Mesa hacker. Currently it lacks a compiled array toggle. I'll probably add it. (Another way to get a more complete test tool is to add lists and spots to isosurf demo) Bram PS: Keith, thank you for fixing my last bugreport about list+array. displaylists and vertarrays no longer give me problems. PPS:I am not subsribed to this list. Email me personally if you have questions. _______________________________________________ Mesa-dev maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.mesa3d.org/mailman/listinfo/mesa-dev
