I got caught up on work and starting digging for Mesa's CVS files
in the lost+found directory on the server.
Well, there's about 400 files which have to be identified. It'll
take forever for me to do it.
I put the files at ftp://ftp.mesa3d.org/mesa/SALVAGE/
If anyone has time to download, identify, and rename these files
please do so.
I don't have a way for anyone to upload the files yet so perhaps
you could choose a block of file numbers, download them to your
system, rename them, and just hold them for a day. Let others on
the list know which block of files you've taken so we don't
duplicate effort.
Unfortunately, it looks like the Mesa src/ directory got really
munged. src-glu/ and a few others I found look fine.
I have a feeling, however, that we'll have to rebuild the src/
CVS files from scratch. I've seen several badly corrupted files.
Whoever had a recent snapshot from before the crash should volunteer
to upload all their files.
I'm working with the VA Linux folks to get CVS up ASAP.
