Hmm. It includes libGLU as well, but I suppose we could split the
packages. Any other ideas? 

Just to be clear, I was taking a bit of poetic license. The "provides" is
a simple line in the package header and refers to a 'virtual package' used
for dependency checking. so we're talking

Provides: libGL

not

"this package provides a version of libGL based on the Mesa project" in a
description for the user.
