I was able to trace it down. Commit c86eab8, SF bug 726223. Here's the

Is it alright if I add it in for linux-dri? Or, I should say that I'm
trying to remove some of the duplication in linux-dri by making it
include configs/linux and I want to know if setting -fexceptions is
OK.
