As keithp noted, we were seeing 5-10% CPU time in pthread mutex
operations depending on the app being profiled on 965.  It's gone with
the dri_bufmgr pthread removal I did, but I've later realized that we
can't just do that, since buffer objects are shared between contexts
(ugh), so the bufmgr internals will need to be protected from concurrent
access and those costs will be coming back.

We're already pulling in libpthread-stubs if XCB is being used, and when
someone gets around to it libX11 will use it as well.  Getting our
required stubs in there sounds like the right plan.
