The source code to GLDirect has just been released. Download here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/gldirect

GLDirect was a Mesa-based product of SciTech Software, Inc who have decided to
make the library open-source. As the author of the library I volunteered to put
together the source package for download. I chose the MIT license - approved by
SciTech - so there's pretty much no restriction on it's use. I cleaned up the
source a little and ensured it compiled with VS2005 but please bear in mind
that I started this project 10 years ago - whilst putting this package together
I had to resist the temptation to alter pretty much the whole thing. :-) In the
end I left the code alone and just ensured that it compiled OK on VS2005.
There's some interesting stuff in there - compiled display lists, run-time HLSL
shader generation, asm API entry jump table to name but a few.

"GLDirect is the utility package for Windows 95/98/Me/2000/XP that
enables OpenGL based games and applications to access 3D hardware
acceleration through the Direct3D drivers provided by your graphics
hardware manufacturer."

Keith Harrison
