Heyho out there,
Previous postings on the mesa3d mailings lists showed, that some of you
managed to compile mesa3d with linux-solo successfully.
I tried it on Arch Linux and Ubuntu 7.10 and 8.04, but I had absolutly no
success. I got dozens of errors, i fixed most of them, but finally I got
stuck with some errors noone has ever seen...
I just want to now, on what linux systems you managed to compile it, what
hardware you use and how you managed to compile it, in fact there are 2
manuals, this one: http://www.mesa3d.org/fbdev-dri.html and this one:
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/tree/docs/fbdev-dri.html
I used a combination of both, because the second one doesn't mention to
install the second part of libdrm.

Please, tell me how you did it, which instruction you used and what
(graphics) hardware you used.

Thanks a lot in advance
Simon Prückl
