That's an obtuse, defensive answer. The only hardware that can support this extension that doesn't already have support for ARB_fragment_shader is G400 and R100. Convince me that we really want to clutter Mesa with shit extensions to add functionality to support 10 year old hardware. We already removed the following extensions, and probably others, for the EXACT SAME REASON. - - GL_SGIS_pixel_texture - - GL_SGIX_pixel_texture - - GL_SGIX_depth_texture - - GL_SGIX_shadow -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkm8ACMACgkQX1gOwKyEAw/3AwCfZL518+nk+c+0AcQn9sa2J6GK W3cAniizJczAAJoW5a2sOhcL13skq/Yp =Jq72 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Apps built with the Adobe(R) Flex(R) framework and Flex Builder(TM) are powering Web 2.0 with engaging, cross-platform capabilities.
