I would consider just leaving them.  Mesa 7.6.2 won't benefit from them,
but it isn't the end of the world.  They'll be in all subsequent 7.7+
releases.   It seems like you started with leaks, etc, in the progs
directory and similar -- I don't think it's a priority to backport those
fixes.

Alternately, they can be cherry-picked one at a time into the 7.6
branch. If there are any core-mesa fixes it may be worth doing this, but
my feeling is just keep working on new fixes and make sure they land in
7.6 as long as that branch is alive.
