Yes, that was my intention. It would be great if you looked at what has been done in that branch and for each new opcode provide reference implementation in tgsi_exec.c, document it in gallium/docs/source/tgsi.rst and it would super cool if you could add a unit test in python/tests/regress/fragment-shader.
