Vinod Kone commented on MESOS-464:
----------------------------------

| suppose I have a couple of executors for my framework, i read that it is
possible, right?, but what if I want my executors to interact, where the output
| of one executor is the input for another one, is there any way to do it ??

A framework can definitely have multiple executors. How the executors interact
is again outside the purview of mesos. But if you can tell us what exactly are
your executors trying to do, maybe I can have some suggestions.

Regarding the slave disconnection, it looks like the master thinks the slave's
ip address is "127.0.0.1". Clearly, this is not going to work because the slave
is running on a different laptop. This is likely a bug on our side, but in the
meanwhile, you could run the slave with "--ip=<public ip address of slave>"
flag to force the slave to use a public ip address.

> I try to build mesos 0.10.0 on my machine by following the instructions on
> the README file, but when i run make I get the following :
> ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
> In file included from
> ../third_party/boost-1.37.0/boost/uuid/random_generator.hpp:12:0,
> from
> ../third_party/boost-1.37.0/boost/uuid/uuid_generators.hpp:17,
> from ../../third_party/libprocess/include/stout/uuid.hpp:11,
> from ../../src/master/master.cpp:31:
> ../third_party/boost-1.37.0/boost/uuid/seed_rng.hpp: In member function 'void
> boost::uuids::detail::seed_rng::sha1_random_digest_()':
> ../third_party/boost-1.37.0/boost/uuid/seed_rng.hpp:153:53: warning: ignoring
> return value of 'size_t fread(void*, size_t, size_t, FILE*)', declared with
> attribute warn_unused_result [-Wunused-result]
> make[2]: *** [master/libmesos_no_third_party_la-master.lo] Error 1
> make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/aboubakr/Development/mesos-0.10.0/build/src'
> make[1]: *** [all] Error 2
> make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/aboubakr/Development/mesos-0.10.0/build/src'
> make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
> /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
> I tried to find a solution to that by reading the other issues posted before,
> but i could not understand them, besides they were for older version(12.04),
> I would be grateful if you tell me in details the steps needed to build mesos
> on my machine
