In the bug I sent to you, there is a command line to disable the HDMI splash in u-boot, no rebuild needed. If it's only a test it's quicker. When coming from Sabre SD to Auto/ARD board, there is always to commom mistakes: UART# and FB#. Please, double check if you are using the right FB number, and the right DI number (in bootargs for kernel). I would need to understand better your environment in order to go further. But if you're using FSL reference board, it should be only bootargs...
