Hello everyone,

I'd like to run a user instance of Weston.
For that, I log in with my user account and I then start weston-launch from the
terminal.

However, it fails with the following error :

[11:21:17.495] weston 1.8.0
               http://wayland.freedesktop.org

Starting the same command from a root terminal works perfectly however.

I assume the patches made to Weston by Freescale to support the hardware cause
this since the fbGetDisplay function is not in the original source code.

The CPU from my module is an iMX6DL.

Do you have any advice ?

Best regards,

Arthur Gaucher
