Hello Jérôme,

be aware that you might need an IPU firmware for the ApolloLake. These are
available only for a few kernel versions which might not be the same kernels
being used in the standard Yocto BSP release.

You might want to have a look here:
https://www.intel.de/content/www/de/de/design/products-and-solutions/processors-and-chipsets/apollo-lake/technical-library.html?grouping=EMT_Content%20Type&sort=title:asc
Some kernels/firmware files are available only after log in

Best regards,
Markus Pietrek

Betreff: [meta-intel] Support for CSI input with gstreamer "icamerasrc" plugin
using Yocto Zeus under Intel Apollo Lake E39xx platform

Hello,
I would like to know how to include the "icamerasrc" plugin inside my Yocto
build in order to use the CSI interface of the Apollo Lake E39xx platform.
We would like to use a custom sensor IC in order to include video feed over
V4L2.
I know we need to develop our custom V4L2 driver but I would like to use our
device using the "icamerasrc" plugin inside gstreamer.
Is it something possible with the current layer?
Regards,
Jérôme
