Hi,
I'm using [honister] targeting a zcu102-zynqmp, zcu104-zynqmp and
zcu208-zynqmp. I've seen a few external posts online (though somewhat old)
suggesting that compiling with musl by setting TCLIBC = "musl" can yield
significantly smaller build products. I looked through poky-tiny and thought
I'd give it a try. When I tried it, I received errors on the fsbl:
*make[3]: aarch64-none-elf-gcc: Command not found*
and on the pmufw:
*make[3]: mb-gcc: Command not found
Do you have meta-xilinx-tools layer? Otherwise there is a good chance it won't
work properly.
Alternatively provide the firmware files as binaries.
musl will only impact Linux (userspace) binaries, not the firmware.

*So I'm wondering, is this capability just plain not supported when building
with the meta-xilinx layers, or is it possible that I'm just missing some
variable setting that would allow me to build? A search on this channel
revealed that there were previous patches that involved musl, so I think its a
thing??? If not I'll just move on, but if its worth pursuing I'd like to know.
Thanks
