I also ran into trouble with 'fs probe' deadlocking, but that's on zynqmp platform (UltraZed EV), so maybe it's unrelated. It happens with U-Boot version xilinx-v2018.3, but QSPI used to be working in my older setup based on xilinx-v2017.3. After a painful compare and trial and error I found the following two config options are now needed for dual parallel QSPI: CONFIG_SPI_GENERIC=y CONFIG_SF_DUAL_FLASH=y Without these options the 2017.3 version used to work, but not 2018.3.
