Sorry for asking such basic stuff.. .

I am sure it's very simple. . . But we don't have a lot of time to waste
doing this the wrong way.

Scott Rossi confirms: Make a MacOS/ISO hybrid CD with the MC stacks and all
related files in the shared part, including a Mac version of the engine and
the PC version of the engine also. That's simple enough.

Next questions. . .does the PC engine have to be in the ISO part or can one
simply put EVERYTHING in as shared files?

Then will the stack auto boot on both systems and auto choose the engine it
needs from the CD? or does one have to get the user to copy the appropriate
engine to his computer and then run the stacks?

Assuming here is space on the CD-- the stacks were small--couldn't we make
an autobootable Standalone one for Mac and one for PC and put them both on
the same CD and they would both access the same single set of externals
image, sound and movie files? I would tend to not embed anything except text
and dynamically script images and player objects to external files, so the
stacks would be relatively light weight. And what about externals? Do they
get bundled into the standalone? or you still need to keep the externals
library on board in the correct relative directory as defined in your PATH
variable?

[Kevin: Is there a user's guide for cross platform CD deployment of
Metacard multi media presentations? You might consider including this in
your documentation. And post it to your Metaclass.]
