We have made a metacard stack to do line plots of a couple of
thousand
data points read from a file, and to resize the plot according to a
box
drawn by dragging the mouse. There are a few bugs in it, but it
runs
under Unix and Windows, and if some-one would like to play with it I
        will post it.

Yes...this would be very useful. I have found Simon Lord's site excellent,
with a collection of downloadable demos of metacard script
examples...Although Simon.. most of the demos don't download on a PC...it
just fills the screen with goop!..looks like MacBinary code? They download
fine on the Mac however...
It can be found at:
http://www.mctools.com/html/homepage.html

or on another great MetaCard support site....

Blair

I would also be interested if anyone else has done something
similar.
