If the field is unlocked but empty, this will work:
on mouseWithin
if the mouse is down then grab me
end mouseWithin
Once there is text in the field, this doesn't work anymore because any
attempt to click in the field selects text, and you probably need this so
the kids can edit what they've typed. If you have some way of telling when
the kids have finished typing (like Enter is pressed), you could lock the
field at that point, and then the kids could grab it with the mouse. You
could even unlock the field again after it's dropped, if you want the kids
to be able to change the text.
Another possibility is to attach come kind of visual "handle" to the field,
and group the handle with the unlocked field. Kids click on the handle to
move the field, instead of clicking on the field itself. The handle would
just need this script:
on mouseDown
grab the owner of me
end mouseDown
Hope this helps!
