The sample I gave you does not use a compiled script, when running a
compiled script performance can be significantly faster. Send me a sample
of what you are doing and I'll see if I can speed things up.

Actually, the next version of the external collection, which is hopefully
to be released soon, will support PNG export from Windows in addition to
BMP(as in the previous version). I was lucky to find good PNG free
source, which I didn't find for the Macintosh. Anyhow, Quicktime 4.0
supposedly supports PNG export so there's a good chance I just may have
quicktime do the exporting in Mac in a future version of the externals
collection down the road. Of course as always that's if Scott doesn't
beat me to it!
