Not at all:
go to stack "quantum"
Metacard stacks will open in a separate window by default. If you
want to open a stack in the window of an already open stack you do
this:
go stack "quantum" in the window of stack "continuum"
Note that Metacard has other commands for opening stacks, depending
on the window behavior you want:
toplevel
modeless
modal
palette
Check the reference for these commands.
