prevent opening a stack by doubleclick

Halo, experts,

stack a (a standalone) opens stack b.

Is there a possibility to prevent the user opening by doubleclicking the
icon of stack b that stack? Other functions, e.g. clicking on groups,
and so on, must work in that stack.
