All,
Since there's been so much interest lately in using MetaCard to duplicate
some common cgi-type functions, and since I am trying to figure out how to
do this myself, how about one of you rocket scientists posting a couple of
examples to the list? Please? Pretty please? Or better yet, here's what I
think people trying to do this would love:
1. An example of a web page (html) that had two fields (first name, last
name) and a post button, to send the info to a metacard http server stack.
2. A stack for the stacks-bin folder that would take their first and last
name and generate a web page saying "Nice to meet you, <first name> <last
name>!"
3. Any modifications needed to be made to the metacard http server stack to
make this work.
OK, I'm asking for the keys to the kingdom here, but this would be HUGE.
Armed with this info, I could create some server-side apps that would save
my school district thousands of dollars. And probably talk about 50 schools
into purchasing MetaCard. Can anyone help?
