I'm using several small sounds randomly played in "the background".
Whenever another sound (besides the ones below) has to be played the
"background sound" must be stopped first. Here is a script (which
originally was written by someone else if I remember correctly). It's
placed in the stack script.
on playStopped
---- first checking if other sounds are on ----
if the uSnd of this stack is empty then
exit playstopped
else
send "AgainSnd" to me in 1 second
end if
end playstopped
on AgainSnd
if the sound is "done" then --- this line may seem unessesary but I've
found it works better with it ----
put "BgSnd13,BgSnd14,BgSnd3,BgSnd4,BgSnd16," &\
"BgSnd7,BgSnd6,BgSnd12," into gSnd
play ((item (random(8)) of gSnd))
end if
end AgainSnd
