When I tried importing 16 bit, 44k sounds into a MetCard stack as
WAVE files, playback on a Macintoish was just noise. The same files
converted to 8 bit WAVE files played OK. The same files converted to
16 bit AIFF files also played OK.
Does this mean that MetaCard on the Mac cannot play imported 16 bit WAVE files?
Is this also true for MetCard for Windows?
What is the best 16 bit sound format for MetaCard for Mac and Windows
OS compatibility?
