It is possible that you might be able to do this using sockets to read and
write the necessary commands. But you'd have to have a copy of all the
specifications and time to learn sockets to find out if this would be
possible. Note that there are database externals contributed on our web
site - not much documentation and I don't know exactly what they work with,
but you might want to take a look at these too.
