Hi all

Thanks to everyone that replied about "talking to open programs" but I
didn't understand most of what you were saying. My learning curve is huge
right now but but as I have only just started playing with launching
applications i probably should slow down peg.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to check for available disk space. I
was asked by my company to give a warning if there was not enough space on
the designated drive when saving. So my first inclination was to copy what
metacard does..... It doesn't do anythig. I tried saving a 3 Meg stack to a
1.44 floppy and there was no error message only the fact that it took ages
for the ask file to close. I actually had to do ask file again and check to
make sure it wasn't there. I don't think this is very good. Unless there is
a built in function or error message I don't know about I will need to know
two things the size of my file which is at this point unsaved and the
available space on a specified drive.

Best regards to all

Monte
